i do believe you need to edit your description of this product. you should clearly state, "not for use on maple fretboards". i bought this and just so happens i have rosewood fretboards. i would not be a happy camper if i bought this and only owned maple fretboards. this is too important of a detail to leave out of your product description.

.This kit is pure amazing. I bought this stuff because I was having trouble bending my strings and performing a good vibrato and this worked wonders! The 01 cleaner truly cleaned the wood of my finger board. It took away all the dirt and grim and all in less than 2 minutes! Then I used the fret polisher and it worked amazingly! I literally worked my frets start to shine as the polisher took off all the dirt! Then I used the conditioner and I was amazed at how dark, rich, and smooth my finger board began to look. I used the conditioner twice just to make sure it got good and slick. Then I noticed a HUGE improvement in my bends and vibratos and I have only used it once! I cant wait to use it again! Buy it! .Face it. All rosewood fretboards WILL dry out in time. This kit solves the problem. The cleaner/prep does a thorough job and the conditioner bottle has a felt applicator that saves waste and takes the messiness out of the chore. It also darkens the fretboard a little and gives it a deeper look. Nice stuff! You will be pleased with the results.

.If you own a guitar with a rosewood fretboard then you NEED this! I took before and after shots of my fretboard when I put on the conditioner and difference is like night and day. It plays way easier now too. I'll be using this on all my guitars with rosewood boards from now on.

.I can't use it because neither the box nor the description says it can't be used on maple necks. I opened up the packaging and read the instructions on the bottle, and it said it can't be used on maple necks.

It will look great, sound better, yes it will improve your tone if your fretboard is dry, it really works and I have been using it for years. I have searched the web for the best product to clean and condition a rosewood fretboard and OMG there are some people out there with the craziest ideas on what to use yikes! .The cleaning kit is great it removes dirts and all that bad stuff. The only thing is that the polisher doesn't work for maple fingerboards I knew this already because I needed the cleaner but yeah that's the only flaw of this kit.
