I ended up with a set of these a while ago but had never strung them on a bass since I was totally turned off by the idea of having my bass sounding 'Super Bright' - a bass needs bottom!. I eventually googled them and read some positive reviews and tried them on my Stingray - lo and behold they sounded and felt great! Maybe 'bright' for nickel, but really wonderful balanced punchy sounding strings. I'm sure there are people out there missing out worried that they'll be too strident or brittle sounding with that name. I couldn't be happier with them, and my guitar tech also complemented the strings when I brought my bass in for a tune up recently. Definitely worth giving them a go. Perhaps Dunlop can rename them 'Full-Bodied' or something more accurately descriptive?

.Okay, I have an old bass I bought in 1984, and it must have been 10 or 15 yrs old then. I had not changed the strings on it since 93 since I don't play it very much. Lately, I've been using it to try to lay down some bass lines on recordings so I thought some new strings would be nice. These strings brought my old bass back to the land of the living. Very lively and snappy. Makes me wish a was good at slapping and plucking. good purchase, I like 'em.
