I have used Martin acoustic strings forever, and even though i'd use light or extra light, they always have very high tension. I tried Ernie Ball Earthwound lights and they worked OK, but seemed to go dead very quickly. I got sick of my fingers peeling off and decided to try these. Not only do I love the tone, but the lower tension helps me keep playing hours after I could have before.

.Have been experimenting with 11 s for awhile since got tired of the 12 tension on my fingers and the guitars . I thought i was sold on another brand were 11-50s but had no LOWS and were dead in 3 weeks . These were SEALED in PLASTIC , Each sting in paper , not 2 - Excellent Quality metal . from the First string I put on the YAM 730s and plunked, I Knew they would be good, IT WAS LOUD . I watched a YouTb Video of their modern automated factory and they spare no expense of making an excellent string for a good price . They still have that new string TWANG JANGLE Whatever you wanna call it , but Im sure when that leaves, they will really sound nice ... Great for sliding across , very comfortable and you'd think you were playing 12s from the loud sound ?? Easy on the wallet, the guitar and my fingers and now have nice UMPH Bass ..
