Product Description
The Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Effect Pedal is everything you love about the Small Clone in an even more compact, die-cast package. This compact battery operated Chorus pedal features a simple, effective Rate knob, with an LED function indicator.
To produce the Chorus effect, the Nano Clone bends the frequency slightly from the input source and mixes this altered signal with some direct unaffected signal. The combination produces a doubling effect.
The depth switch controls the amount of frequency change that occurs in the altered signal. The rate knob controls the rate of alteration between raising and lowering the frequency. The red LED indicates when the effect is switched on. The footswitch engages and disengages the Chorus effect.

I don't like to bash gear. I don't make it a habit. They really shouldn't sell these anymore. There is a reason that EH has come out with a new version of a Nano Clone (Neo Clone) with the same features as the original clone. I think the reason is they've realized that they messed up with this one. I didn't even buy it from MF, I just want to warn people from buying this. I really wanted to like it. It's simple and easy to use, and it's made by a company I like. The actual chorus sound isn't THAT bad, but there is far too noticeable of a volume drop when engaged. There is also a huge pop when engaged. It's also noisier than any pedal should be. I don't see how a guitarist can use one of these practically. I was fed up with it so I gave it to a friend and he uses it to make weird noises on his synth.Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.Do not buy this.
It completely kills your tone - sucks all the base ... makes it into, I don't know what.
I have a high end tube amp that sounds beautiful and this pedal didn't even sound good in that.
There is also a terrible hiss when it is turned on.
Just don't buy it.

Also, I have to say I am very pleased with other Electro Harmonix pedals (Holy Grail rocks!) but this is just bad. Bad as in, I have no idea how this went into production. I was so so so disappointed with this.
PS. I signed up for an account on here just so I could write a review to try and prevent people from going through what I went through with this pedal.
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.I compared it to a DeltaLab SC-1 (which is inexpensive as well) and it was miles better. I wanted a smaller-size pedal, which is why I bought the nano in the first place. Big mistake.
I sometimes buy an inexpensive item thinking that I'll be OK with something less-than-Cadillac and many times I'm elated, but this was a dud, period. Following my dead-end email dialog with the EHX tech support guy, that's the last time I'll buy EHX and I'll certainly share my experience with my pro player friends and students.
Features are basic, but not really an issue for me
CRAP, Utter crap. I contacted EHX and the guy basically told me that it is supposed to sound thin, tinny and with exaggerated feedback much like a flanger. He suggested I get one of the more expensive models.
No value, since I will sell this off for a basement-bargain price with a guilty conscience or use it as a paper weight.
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.This is quite possibly the worst pedal ever made. First of all, you cannot daisy chain this pedal. When you engage the pedal it usually makes a loud popping noise and is followed by a substantial drop in volume. The effect is NOISY and it sounds thin and unpleasant. TERRIBLE PEDAL!!Electro Harmonix should have some integrity and recall this garbage!
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.Let me first say that I have never written a negative review. I love Electro-Harmonix, and I believe they have some of the best effects out there. This pedal could possibly be used to thin tone out for certain sounds, but this is definitely not what I expected when I bought it. It does deliver a high-end shimmer, but it cuts out any bass or mid-range and drops the overall output. I was really disappointed with this one.
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.The nano clone may have some useful applications, but I have yet to find one. The main problem with this pedal is the way it sucks the life out of your tone(especially when used with any kind of distortion), and the fact that it runs on a reverse polarity so it can't be daisy chained doesn't help either
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.i ordered one off of this website as a quick fix for my amp. the chorus effect on my amp broke so went and got a chorus box. it has a decent sound, kinda treblely cuts bass a lil bit. good range of speed on the rate knob, metal casing is the best part.the chorus is compressed a bit....and it distorts if you play too hard. this pedal needs more volume and a depth knob like its big bro the small clone.... i would recommend this pedal for classic players or beginners.
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.This is THE CHORUS PEDAL, I tried it in the store and took it to practice the next day, AMAZING!!! True it does "cut" your volume VERY SLIGHTLY, however it is not annoying and spewing out high end, it's real smooth. Just looking for great chorus, this is your pedal! I have a les paul studio and a 5150 head and Mesa Rect. cab. Maybe the vintage 30's responde THAT MUCH BETTER!!! ROCK ON!!!
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.Did not purchase the pedal through musicians friend, but as other reviews wrote if you are looking for a good quality pedal this is not the one you want. Too much of a volume drop - a lot of noise and being an engineer I wouldn't recommend this to anyone other than a beginner - it's not a pedal I would use live unless they came out with a mod to improve it. I don't hate it but not impressed or satisfied. I should have saved my money for a better pedal.
Electro-Harmonix Nano Clone Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal
.I checked one of these out as soon as they were released. I'd been looking for a really solid, small MXR sized all metal chorus stomp box for ages. There really aren't any apart from this one.Unfortunately, this thing is horrible! noisy, muffled, ungrounded and with a swishing noise too. It's a shame, because beneath this blanket of noise is an OK chorus sound (I think?)
