Full disclosure... I have been playing a Godin multiac electric classical for almost 20 years and already thought it was one of the best sounding and most affordable electric classicals. So I was getting many requests to do Ukulele music for weddings and thought I would give this a try. It is delightfully loud without plugging in and you can even hear the overtones. Also you can get clean notes with no fret buzz on up the neck (to 7 and 10 easily, higher will take practice). When plugged in and run through an acoustic amp with a little reverb it sounds harp like. The tuners are the screw type... no built in tuners, but I paid 20bucks for an external tuner. I'm happy, my wife is happy... now she wants to play and is taking lessons. I got the one with the Cedar top as it gives a more mellow tone... also for electric I put the low G on the bottom (use NiGut type strings).Godin Multi Ukulele Natural HG
.This axe is perfect for me and what I do. I am first and foremost a guitar player. I play the uke for my gigs and just plain old fashioned fun. I play mostly all Haole Hula (white man's Hawaiian Music) not traditional Hawaiian. I bought one and it is the third Uke I own. I love it for what I do. It is the best of the bunch for a guitar player with the radiused neck, great electronics. I really like a low G and the D'Addario Titanium strings that came on it with a high G I didn't like. They are to fat and to mellow for what I want. Here is what I did The D'Addario Pro-arte Carbon EJ99TLG (with low G are great the unwound low G is way too fat and mellow for me. I put on a aluminum wound D'Addario J5403-.036 nice and spanky!! This is an excellent choice for a stage Uke it only weighs 3 pounds. As for the weight, a Uke player that can't stand up and play a 3 pound instrument is a wussy IMO. :)

.Amazing build quality. Godin is always consistent in providing the best bang for the bug.
The Multiuke is surprisingly loud unplugged, comparable to other quality tenor ukuleles I own. It is certainly suitable for playing acoustically with other ukulele players. But it really shines when you plug it into a decent acoustic amplifier. Sweet tone and it still sounds like a ukulele but it gains the umph of a real instrument. And it is a dream to play, it is the ukulele I always reach for first now.
I'm not as high on the gig bag as some other reviewers. It is a quality gig bag and it provides good protection but the fit is not as snug as I would prefer.
